Our 16-room BriarRose Lodge welcomes travelers with rustic ambience and modern furnishings, surrounded by the world-class hunting and fishing of our rural hamlet. Relax downstairs in the bar, enjoy a game of cards or billiards, or just settle into the soothing waters of our hot tub. Mornings find our guests gathered at the peaceful Grist Mill to relish the views, or on our nine-hole golf course overlooking the Oconee River Valley. Afternoons might call for a traditional Southern Quail or upland game hunt, followed by storytelling on the back porch of our Sporting Lodge.  An afternoon swim in The BriarRose Pool, or practice at the World Class Game Clays CourseTM, The BriarRose holds wonders in store for every visitor.

This sportsman’s paradise is easier to reach than you could dream. From Atlanta, hop onto I-20 and enjoy an easy, 1.5 hours drive to our front gate. Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport is 90 minutes away, and consistently ranks in the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Top 10 airports for on-time performance. That means, by midmorning you can be sipping a sweet tea on the verandah, or gearing up for the day’s hunt.

This 9-hole, Roy Case designed golf course treats enthusiasts to sweeping views of the Oconee River Valley. The BriarRose course offers five different tee boxes on each hole, challenging golfers of all skill levels.
